wndhop

I had almost forgotten about this cool little tool.  Whilst not entirely Enterprise Vault related it really does help when working on multiple monitors, including when you happen to be supporting Enterprise Vault !

wndhop makes the active window “hop” to another monitor.

You simply press Windows key + Enter, and the window will jump over to a second monitor.  Very useful when you have to make some real estate space.

I’ve not tried it with 3 monitors (I wish!) but with 2 monitors it works perfectly.  After you’ve run it for the first time it also adds itself to the startup programs so that next time Windows starts it will automatically run it.  I’ve tried the utility on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 2008 .. and it works perfectly on all of them.
