wordpress-logo-notext-rgbA few days ago WordPress 3.8 was announced. My host doesn’t immediately start to spam me with mails telling me that the upgrade is available, but since I was using WordPress 3.7 before each time I logged in to the back-end of my blog I was told that WordPress had an update.

So I decided to take the plunge, and upgrade to WordPress 3.8

There I said it.  There has been a lot said about whether instagram is good or bad for the photography world, but I for one, really like the images that can be made with instagram.  Sometimes though I have normal camera images taken with DSLR or even with my normal camera app, rather than with instagram.  These are a problem!  I want to instagram-ify them!

Google_reader_icon (Custom) (Custom)I’ve used it forever, and I’m sure many people have too.  In case you haven’t heard, Google is chopping the Google Reader service.  I’ve had a little rummage around, and well, so far I’ve not settled on a ‘new’ service yet.  One thing is for sure I don’t want to subscribe to all of the blogs that I read to get updates via email.  It’ll take me forever to do that, and I get far too many emails anyway!  I also don’t want to get them on Twitter, too many updates there too!
