Have you ever had the situation where an email with attachments just looks ‘odd’ after it has been archived? I know I have. It doesn’t normally happen on environments that I have had direct dealings with, but from time to time I look at a lot of other systems, and I see an attachment that looks a little bit like this:


[English] Somefilename.pdf (267.0KB)




It is a little puzzling at first, as it’s just that text in the body of the message.. but it all comes down to the simple settings relating to shortcut content, which of course is on the Archiving Policy:
