Some people say that it has been along-time-coming, but with Enterprise Vault 10.0.2 comes Exchange Mailbox Archiving reports.

In the not too distant past it wasn’t possible to find out when an Exchange Archiving run finished.. or whereabouts in the list of mailboxes the task is curent… or what was actually done during the run after it had finished.  All that is a thing of the past with the Archive Repots.

You now get proper events logged at the start and end of a run:
