Soon to be written in to a technote “near you”, is an issue that has cropped up since the release of Enterprise Vault 9.0.1.  The issue is that if you upgrade the Outlook Add-in to the 9.0.1 version, Virtual Vault will no longer be available in Outlook unless you go back in and tick the box to re-enable it.

It’s annoying issue, and I’m sure it’s one which will generate support calls in many organisations.  Maybe it’s worth a pre-emptive educational email to users, providing them with screenshots and steps to correct the problem?
