We all know that when Enterprise Vault archives Exchange mailboxes it can do so based on the users quota, or rather the amount of mailbox quota that they have used.

There are three options for quota:

* Warning

* Prohibit Send

* Prohibit Send/Receive

Normally Enterprise Vault will use the highest of these quotas.  So if you have 150,000 Kb warning, 200,000 Kb for prohibit send and 250,000 Kb for prohibit send/receive, then the latter will be used.

If you prefer to have Enterprise Vault use the “Prohibit Send” value, to keep mailboxes “healthier”, then you can use the following registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREKVSEnterprise VaultAgents
DWORD : Set value to 1
PreferQuotaNoSendLimit

If Enterprise Vault is running on a 64 bit Operating System you should look under the HKLMSOFTWAREWOW6432node area.
