One of the things that you can do with the Outlook 2010 Enterprise Vault 9.0.1 client is to add extra buttons to the Outlook “Quick Access Toolbar”.  To do this, as you can see in the screenshot below, you click the icon to the right of the toolbar (which is at the top left hand corner of Outlook) :


From there you click on More Commands to go to this window:


There is a ton of stuff that can be added to the toolbar.  The things we want are accessible on the Enterprise Vault Tab option in the drop down list called “Choose commands from:”, as you can see below I simply select it from the drop down list :


Once I’ve selected it, I see the Enterprise Vault operations, and on the right hand side, I see the operations which I currently have on the Quick Access Toolbar:


As you can see in this close up screenshot, I selected “Search Vaults”, then clicked on Add, to add that button to the list on the right hand side, then I clicked “Ok” on the dialog.  Outlook now looks like this :


When I click on that new little icon I see “Search” :
